The Glendale Heights, IL Fluids laboratory is currently taking the steps necessary to document its extensive quality control procedures for submission to the EPA Office of Transportation and Air Quality for review and approval as per the federal regulations found in 40CFR Part 80. SSFA already performs ULSD analysis per ASTM Method D5453, Ultraviolet Fluorescence, and will be able to offer EPA approved analysis to its customers needing to submit regulatory compliant results. As with many laboratory approval programs, this process takes time, both for the laboratory and the EPA.
